Enzy•Dex® Quantitative Custom Acti•Tip IgG

Enzyme Immunoassay for the Determination of

Type III IgG Specific Antibodies.

Specific antigen coated to a solid phase support (Ati•Tip) reacts with antigen specific IgG antibodies in patient’s serum. After washing away non specific reactants, enzyme labeled anti-human IgG is added to react with the antigen bound human IgG. The bound complex (antigen-IgG- enzyme labeled anti-IgG) is reacted with a chromogenic substrate specific for the enzyme, which results in the development of color. The intensity of the color developed is proportional to the amount of circulating allergen specific IgG antibodies. Measurement of these antibodies is achieved spectrophotometrically. and results expressed in percent (%) absorbance, by comparing readings of the unknowns to that of a Reference Standard.
