DBA Systems Specialist

Reports To: Corporate Vice President


 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Responsible for supervision and management of the DBA system

• Assures accuracy of all Bills of Material

• Assures accurate costing of all raw material used in sub-assemblies, kits, spare parts and finished goods

• Monitors work orders to ensure proper material routing and that work orders are closed timely

• Monitors all manufacturing employees to ensure that they are clocked in and out of job orders to ensure accurate labor costing

• Works closely with all department supervisors and management to ensure maximum utilization of the DBA system

• Responsible for coordinating the training of employees on the proper and efficient use of the DBA system

• Responsible for inventory management including periodic inventory counts and final year-end inventory


QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; 

OR

Five years of experience working with DBA or similar application in a manufacturing environment

• Cross-functional abilities to handle complex manufacturing processes and equipment

• Ability to share one's knowledge to help other team members grow together and maximize team synergy

• Highly motivated, self-starting individual who is a team player with an open mind

• May require overtime, on-call response, and assignments to perform technical support functions

• Experience working with word processor, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, and presentation applications and/or software

• Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats to all levels of the organization
