Please contact us if you suspect a Stat Fax reader is counterfeit or fake. Counterfeit instruments from Iran (using our logo, name, labeling, and manual) may appear in the Bangladesh and India markets, and may be exported to other countries.

Counterfeit 3200 issues

  • The overlay on the fake reader has arrows in the 4 quick keys.
  • The overlay fit and finish are poor and uneven.
  • The cover appears to be unpainted, with poor fit and finish
  • The fake reader has the serial number label below the warning label.
  • The fake reader uses different fonts on the serial label.
  • The fake reader does not have current safety information on the warning label.
  • The fake PCB is labeled "DANA TECHNOLOGY" instead of "AWARENESS TECHNOLOGY" (old type PCB only).
  • The fake PCB has many differences - poorly copied from an older revision PCB (not current SMT technology level).
