Distributors of Awareness Technology products from Egypt, KSA, Oman, Pakistan, Syria, and UAE met in Dubai Jan 23rd to kick off 2010 with a Middle East Regional Distributors Meeting.

Presentations were given by Mary Freeman, president of Awareness Technology, Greg Vandegrift, vice president, Vellatt Gopinath, regional branch manager, and G.C. Shekhar, local manager of technical support services.

The event included a global and local perspective of Awareness Technology, sharing selling points and sales experiences, hands-on demonstrations of all new products, an informative survey of distributors interests, a review of the full support services offered by the SAIF zone branch office, and review of the terms of the company's distribution agreement.

The meeting closed with a raffle of a new Stat Fax 4500 biochemistry analyzer, won by Al Yasmina of Jeddah, KSA. Thanks to all who participated, for the excitement about new products, and for providing valuable feedback for our program of continuous improvement.

The distributors meeting was followed immediately by the Arab Health show which was very well attended. In addition to those attending the distributor's meeting, Awareness Technology met with distributors and potential customers from Afghanistan, Algeria, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Nigeria, Qatar, Sudan, Turkey, and Yemen. With this powerful team of well-focused distributors, Awareness Technology's management team is confident that sales in the Middle East region will grow this year. We stand behind each company and wish everyone great success.

BioLine installs
Stat Fax
® 3300 in AÏR Desert
From Jean-Paul Millet of Bioline, Mali:

"Awareness now has another instrument located in one of the hottest and
the wildest deserts on the planet: the AÏR desert."

"The AÏR desert just the most solitary and desolate place that humans
can imagine, well known and dreaded by trekkers and raiders alike!
It is like a strange lunar landscape, made of an amazing mix of
sand dunes, rocks, and mountains, and it is extremely hot!
Apart from nomadic Tuareg tribes (living there for 7000 years)
and a mining company base camp, nothing survives in Aïr."

"Here are a few pictures - quite a change from Mount Everest
and the snows of the Himalayas!"
